🟠 TrackMan Setup – Full Startup

Use this step-by-step guide to power up the TrackMan system, prepare the hitting bay, and get fully connected for a session.

🖥 Step 1: Turn On the PC

  • Press the power button on the computer tower to boot up.
  • 💡 Turn on the monitor if it doesn’t come on automatically.
  • The computer password is robillard all lower case

🔌 Step 2: Power TrackMan & Cooling Fan

  • Plug in both floor outlets beside the TrackMan box:
    • One powers the TrackMan unit
    • The other powers the cooling fan inside the box

📡 Step 3: Turn On the TrackMan

  • Lift the plastic cover on the front of the TrackMan box.
  • Press the small power button (located just left of the charging port).
  • ✅ A green light will appear once the TrackMan is powered on.

🟧 Step 4: Load TPS Software

  • On the PC desktop, double-click the orange TPS icon.
  • Launch the software and allow it to fully load.

📺 Step 5: Power Display Equipment

  • Use the black remote to turn on the TV.
  • Use the white remote to turn on the projector:
    • Stand directly beneath it and aim the remote upward for best signal.

🌐 Step 6: Connect to TrackMan Wi-Fi

  • On the PC, open Wi-Fi settings.
  • Select the network: TM4 2449-4075 ❌ Do NOT connect to the one ending in “fast”

💡 Note: The PC is hard-wired to the internet, so even while connecting to the TrackMan via Wi-Fi, you’ll still have full online access.

🎯 Step 7: Calibrate with Auto Target

  • In TPS, click the TrackMan logo at the bottom of the screen.
  • Ensure the hitting bay is completely clear (no players, balls, or clubs).
  • Click Auto Target to automatically calibrate the system.

✅ This step is critical for ensuring proper alignment and accurate data.

🎯 Auto Target = Calibration — always run this before starting a session.

📷 Step 8: Set Up the TrackMan Camera

  • Use the white iPhone with the SuperSpeed sticker 🔓 Passcode: 123456
  • Open Wi-Fi settings and connect to: TM4 2449-4075 ❌ Not the one ending in “fast”
  • Open the TrackMan Camera app
    • Tap Connect to your TrackMan
    • Wait until the grid view appears — you’re now connected.
  • Extend the tripod, then aim the camera based on session goals (e.g., full swing, face-on view, etc.).

✅ You’re now ready to start your session!
