The Elevate Junior Golf Pathway in Windsor
Phase 2 of the Elevate Junior Golf Pathway is now underway, expanding indoors for Winter 2026–27 with more ways for young golfers to find the right place to learn, develop and progress.
Winter introduces IGNITE, LAUNCH and LAUNCH: High School while continuing SPARK, girls programming and our team-based development environments. Together, these programs create multiple entry points from a golfer’s first experiences in the game through long-term competitive development.
Multiple entry points for different ages, experience levels and goals.
Development is guided by readiness, skill, experience and competitive goals.
A connected pathway designed to support golfers as they continue to grow.
One Pathway. Multiple Ways to Develop.
The Elevate Junior Golf Pathway connects a golfer’s first experiences in the game with golf skill development, athletic development, team training and competitive golf.
The pathway is a development framework, not a rigid ladder. Junior golfers can enter at the stage that best fits their age, experience, current skills and goals, then continue progressing as their golf skills, athletic abilities, independence and commitment develop.
Phase 1 launched in Fall 2026 with SPARK, Girls Club, Girls Skills and Development Team alongside our year-round Performance Team. For Winter 2026–27, Phase 2 expands the pathway with IGNITE, LAUNCH and LAUNCH: High School while continuing SPARK, girls programming and our team-based development environments. Winter Semester 1 registration is now open.
Golfers can enter the pathway at different ages and experience levels rather than needing to begin at one specific stage.
Programs connect introductory golf with skill development, team training and competitive environments as players are ready for their next challenge.
Golf coaching, athletic development, practice and competition evolve as the golfer’s skills, independence and goals continue to grow.
Development Is More Than an Age Group
Age helps us create appropriate learning environments within the Elevate Junior Golf Pathway, but it is a guide rather than the progression decision. The right environment also depends on a golfer’s skills, athletic development, experience, independence, goals and readiness for the next challenge.
Skill Development
Players build the golf skills needed for their stage, including full swing, short game, putting, scoring and the ability to apply those skills on the golf course.
Athletic Development
As juniors progress, age-appropriate athletic development becomes part of their training, helping build the movement skills, physical foundations and athletic abilities that support long-term golf development.
Experience & Independence
Players gradually learn to take greater ownership of practice, preparation, routines and decision-making while gaining the golf experience needed for more advanced training and competition.
Goals & Commitment
The pathway should match where a golfer wants to go. As competitive goals increase, so do expectations around practice, coaching, preparation and commitment to improvement.
Juniors do not need to begin at SPARK, complete every stage or progress simply because they reach a certain age. The goal is to place each golfer in the environment that best supports their learning, enjoyment and long-term development, then move forward when the next challenge is the right fit.
From a Strong Start to the Next Stage
The Elevate Junior Golf Pathway is being built one phase at a time. Following a strong Fall 2026 launch, Phase 2 is now expanding the pathway indoors for Winter 2026–27 with new development opportunities and a three-semester winter structure.
Fall 2026
The first major expansion of the Elevate Junior Golf Pathway
Phase 1 introduced new opportunities for junior golfers across Windsor–Essex through SPARK, Girls Club, Girls Skills and Development Team, alongside our established year-round Performance Team. Strong registration across the fall programs gave the expanded pathway a positive first season and created the foundation for what comes next.
The Pathway Expands Indoors
Phase 2 introduces IGNITE, LAUNCH and LAUNCH: High School, creating new development opportunities from ages 7 through high school while continuing SPARK, girls-only environments and our team-based development programs. Together, these additions create more ways for juniors to enter the pathway and continue developing throughout the indoor season.
IGNITE
A development stage designed to build golf skills, confidence, great practice habits and athletic foundations through structured training, games, age-appropriate athletic development and opportunities to apply those skills through Match Days.
LAUNCH
A development stage for golfers ready to build stronger golf skills, athletic abilities, practice habits and greater independence through structured training, challenges and Match Days as their development continues.
LAUNCH: High School
A new high-school development environment combining structured coaching with independent practice. Golfers build stronger skills, better practice habits and greater ownership of their development as they prepare for more advanced training and competitive opportunities.
Winter programming is organized into three semesters, giving families multiple opportunities to enter, continue and progress through the indoor season.
A Complete Year-Round Pathway
The long-term goal remains a connected junior golf development system with multiple entry points and meaningful opportunities to progress. As the pathway grows, programming can evolve across golf skill development, athletic development, indoor training, outdoor practice, on-course golf and competitive performance while the underlying development framework stays consistent.
Players do not need to begin at the first stage or move through every program in order. The goal is to help each junior find the environment that fits where they are now and provides a clear next step when they are ready.
